On my bookshelf
Today I want to share the books I read during this month. I read three books during this month and I found them very interesting but I can pick one of them three to be my favorite of the month.
The first book I read was one that I was looking forward to read for a long time and it’s called “Paper Towns” by John Green, I found this book quite intriguing and my curiosity kept me reading and reading…it’s that kind of book that the story by its own is good that makes you want to keep reading it. While reading this book it reminded me my days in high school. An even today I can feel indentified with Margo, the main character. (Don’t worry I won’t get into details in case you haven’t read it). At the end I liked it so much that I convinced my boyfriend to watch the movie with me. (Just so you know I got so disappointed with the movie, they changed so many scenes that without thinking twice I preferred the book).
The second book I read is called “The Life-changing magic of tidying up” by Marie Kondo. My God! I loved loved looooved it! If you are the kind of person who are not that organized and you’re looking for some help or just want to learn how to improve your life in general this book is for you. I don’t consider myself a desorganized person, on the contrary I am very organized and I like my stuff to be in a particular order in a particular place in my bedroom. I love being this way to be honest. My point here is that if you want to improve your overall life this book is for you. You will learn the Japanese art of decluttering and organizing. It’s very straightforward and to the point so you won’t get bored. I loved this book so much that I even recommended it to my mom 🙂
The third book I read is called #GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amoruso. I can’t really find the correct words to express what this book made me feel. I mean, if you are a girl who makes your own decisions and you got that inner entrepreneur in you, this book is definitely for you. I love how Sophia explains how she turned her eBay store into a multimillion dollar company. Amazing right? She also shares some personal experiences and mistakes so that you don’t make them too. I really recommend this book if you want to gain more confidence in yourself and want to learn how to build your own business into a successful one. This book is definitely my favorite of the month.
I hope you find this post interesting, remember that reading helps us to expand our knowledge and learn more about something we didn’t know or even help us to be more creative. I encourage you to read at least one book a moth. Challenge accepted? Let’s do it together! Maybe we can start a book club? Let me know if you’re interested, we can do this a monthly thing.
Have a great day!
